I have found THE perfect purse!

The other day I was at the second hand/antique store in town and found the cutest little purse I have ever seen. It is a long pink alligator look bag by PRADA. ($5!) But what makes it perfect, you ask?

It has a padlock and a key! I can lock my purse and my hubby will stay out of it! I was so excited! He is really bad about going into my purse and taking money, going thru my wallet. It drives me NUTS. It's totally a respect thing for me. He is always going thru my stuff.

Case in point: I have a little box that I got when I graduated high school. It's got some jewelry, pictures, little things I want to keep. Most of it's junk, but it's MY junk. Well, ever since our son was born, every time I would get one of the gold Sacagawea dollars I would put it up for him. When Annie was born, I started saving them for her as well. I didn't have very many, because I wouldn't get them that often, but when I did have one it got put up in this little box. Well, the other day I was looking for something and noticed the dollars weren't there. I had around 8 or 9 of them. (YOu can see where this is going, can't you?)

Yup, my husband and gone thru my stuff and taken all those dollars that I had been saving for the last 7 years. Every single one of them was gone. And then he had the audacity to LIE to me about it. He took it for POP and CANDY. I was so mad I couldn't see straight. He is ALWAYS going thru my wallet and purse. Even after REPEATED requests for him not too, he still does.

So, when I found this little locking purse I was in heaven. Now I don't have to worry about him going thru my personal things, and I don't have to get mad at him when he does!

Hi. I wanted to send this to you by email, but it doesn't seem to be working, so feel free to delete it if you want. I just wanted to let you know that this post has some people feeling really bad. I agree he shouldn't have taken them but to publicly humiliate your spouse online isn't a good idea. Perhaps this isn't about a purse, but is a issue between you and him and not something for everyone to read.

I agree hole heartly with the last post. I cannot beleive that you would so blatently embarrass your husband, no matter what type of relationship you and your husband are facing it is exactly that: You and your husbands relationship. Not the whole worlds. I can tell you many times money was given to you from this family for specific reasons and found out it was spent for other reasons. That is the same thing and yet no one in this family has judged you as harshly as you are judging your own husband. I am so hurt and upset by this post, I only hope that you and your husband can figure things out for your families sake.
