Last year for my birthday my dad brought me flowers and a card. I still have the card. The flowers I tried to hold on to for as long as I could. I eventually had to throw them away because they were slimy and gross and just nasty. I think it was about a month later....my dad had just passed away and I wanted to hold on to them so bad...the last thing he ever gave me. I cried and cried and cried when I had to throw them away.
Today my son came in to my room to give me a hug and kiss when he woke up. It's kinda become a tradition. He will always peek his head in and if I am awake I get a hug and kiss and if I am asleep he goes downstairs to watch tv till I get there. Today he came in to give me hugs and kisses and I said "Hey, don't you have anything you wanna tell me?" He thinks for a minute and he goes "Oh hi."
Such a silly boy.
